The Qur'an, put to music

During the progressive secular era of Nasser, many taboos of religious dogmas were violated.  Both Muhammad `Abdul-Wahab and Riad Sunbati sang the Qur'an to musical composition.  But those recordings were never released because the rise of Sadat ushered in an era of religious conservatism and social-moral puritanism.
